Forest City Hotel Hiring! Full Time Technician in Johor, Earn up to MYR 2,400 - Ricebowl

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform routine preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on hotel facilities, equipment, and systems (e.g., electrical, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, appliances).
• Respond promptly to guest service requests and maintenance calls.
• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas for maintenance needs and safety compliance.
• Assist in troubleshooting technical issues and coordinate with external contractors when needed.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Complete daily maintenance checklists and update maintenance logs.
• Ensure all tasks are carried out in accordance with safety guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Report major maintenance issues and potential hazards to supervisors.
• Assist in energy-saving and sustainability initiatives of the hotel.
• Attend to complaints, inspections, setup and reparation as requested by the Management and tenants.
• Support emergency response (e.g., power failure, fire systems, water leakage).
• Report any potential problems/hazards to the supervisor and take remedial action.

Job Requirements :

• Minimum SPM or Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or relevant field.
• Minimum 1-2 years working experience in similar capacity.
• Willing to work on shifts, including weekends and public holiday.
• Able to speak in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an advantage.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,400.00 per month
