Role Description The Quality Assurance Laboratory Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Melaka. This role is responsible for performing routine laboratory tests and inspections to verify product quality, safety, and compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements. The technician will operate and maintain laboratory equipment, record and interpret test results, and prepare accurate documentation and reports for quality review. The role also involves following established laboratory protocols, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives related to testing methods and quality processes.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong laboratory skills, including safe handling of samples and adherence to standard testing procedures.
• Candidates should possess experience working with laboratory equipment, including calibration, basic troubleshooting, and routine maintenance.
• Candidates should possess quality control skills focused on monitoring, testing, and verifying product compliance with specifications and standards.
• Candidates should possess sensory evaluation skills to assess product performance and characteristics using standardized methods.
• Candidates should possess analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and support investigations into quality issues.
• Diploma or degree in science, chemistry, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures, maintain accurate records, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with safety, regulatory, or ISO/quality management systems is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to work on-site in Melaka and adapt to shift or weekend work if required by operations.
