Job Description

Responsibilities

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Logistics Manager. This role is responsible for ensuring that warehouse operations run smoothly and efficiently to meet customer demands and company targets.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day warehouse and logistics operations, ensuring accurate and timely inbound, storage, inventory, and outbound activities.
  • Plan daily manpower, allocate tasks, and monitor productivity to achieve operational targets.
  • Oversee inventory control, investigate stock discrepancies, conduct stock audits, and maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Supervise receiving, picking, packing, and dispatch processes to ensure compliance with company SOPs.
  • Coordinate daily delivery schedules with drivers and transport partners to ensure efficient and timely deliveries.
  • Resolve operational issues, including delivery delays, inventory shortages, damaged goods, and customer complaints.
  • Review and improve warehouse and delivery processes and SOPs to enhance productivity, accuracy, and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor warehouse KPIs, analyse performance, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure warehouse equipment and facilities are properly maintained while enforcing workplace safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Work closely with Sales, Purchasing, Customer Service, and Finance teams to support smooth order fulfilment and inventory planning.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers, transport providers, and third-party logistics partners to maintain service standards.
  • Coach, develop, and lead the warehouse team while providing hands-on operational support whenever required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in logistics or warehouse management.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, WMS, Google Workspace
