This is a high-impact role supporting a diverse trading business across global markets, with exposure to complex products and ongoing transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the full trade lifecycle across multiple asset classes including Fixed Income, Rates, Credit, Commodities, and derivatives
Ensure smooth execution of trade support activities such as booking, confirmation, settlement, and regulatory reporting
Manage daily reconciliations and proactively resolve breaks, discrepancies, and operational issues
Act as the escalation point for complex or high-risk items, ensuring timely resolution and strong risk controls
Lead and supervise a small team, providing guidance, coaching, and performance management
Partner closely with Front Office, Risk, Compliance, and Technology teams to enhance processes and support new product initiatives
Drive operational improvements, including system enhancements, automation, and change initiatives
Support regulatory reporting requirements and liaise with auditors and regulators when required
Monitor operational risk and contribute to strengthening the overall control framework through continuous improvement
Requirements
8+ years of experience in Middle Office / Trade Support within an investment bank or securities firm
Strong knowledge of multi-asset products, including derivatives and structured products; experience with exotic instruments is advantageous
Proven experience managing end-to-end trade lifecycle processes across global markets
Team leadership experience with the ability to manage stakeholders and handle high-pressure situations
Familiarity with regulatory reporting obligations (e.g. HKTR) and audit engagement
Demonstrated involvement in system implementations, UAT, or process improvement initiatives
Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Proficiency in Excel and relevant front-to-back or reconciliation systems
Degree-qualified in Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related field
Fluent in English and Mandarin
