Requirements

Must-Have

  • 2–4 years of recruitment / talent acquisition experience (in-house, agency, or RPO).
  • Proven ability to source across multiple channels and hire across different functions.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in human resource management, human resource hiring or related field
  • Experience recruiting across more than one ASEAN market (e.g. Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, comfortable working with managers and senior leaders.
  • Experience with ATS / recruitment tools (e.g. Hiredly, LinkedIn Recruiter).
  • Proficiency in professional English (spoken/written).

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience hiring for software / SaaS / tech or high-growth environments.
  • Experience planning and running recruitment events or campus programmes.
  • Track record of managing external recruitment partners and agencies.
  • Familiarity with regional employment norms and hiring practices across SEA.
  • Proficiency in an additional SEA language (Mandarin, Thai, Bahasa etc.) is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

We're looking for a driven and resourceful Recruiter to support Axium's growth across Asia Pacific. You'll own the full recruiting lifecycle, including sourcing, outreach, screening, scheduling, and closing candidates across multiple markets and functions. This is a hands-on role for someone who is comfortable using any channel to find great people, enjoys building talent pipelines from scratch, and can partner with hiring managers and external recruitment partners to hit hiring goals. You'll play a direct part in scaling a fast-growing industrial AI business across the region through being a face of the company to great talent in the region.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sourcing & Outreach

  • Design and implement job descriptions as per the guidance of hiring managers.
  • Identify, research, and engage candidates across all APAC markets using any and all channels — LinkedIn, job boards, recruitment events, referrals, communities, and direct outreach.
  • Run proactive outreach campaigns to build pipelines for both active and passive candidates.
  • Maintain accurate candidate data and hiring pipeline hygiene in recruitment system.
  • Build a strong employer brand for the company, by finding and hiring the right candidate for the job

2. Events & Employer Branding

  • Plan, organise, and represent Axium at recruitment events, career fairs, meetups, and campus/community activities across the region.
  • Support employer branding initiatives to strengthen Axium's presence as an employer of choice in SEA.
  • Build and nurture talent communities for future hiring needs.

3. Planning & Coordination

  • Plan hiring pipelines against workforce and headcount plans; forecast timelines and prioritise roles.
  • Own interview scheduling and coordination across candidates, hiring managers, and interview panels, managing time zones across SEA markets.
  • Keep candidates and stakeholders informed throughout the process to ensure a strong candidate experience.
  • Keep track of job boards, social networks, and other platforms that enable HR hiring, with relevant job descriptions and announcements

4. Recruitment Partner Management

  • Engage and manage external recruitment partners, agencies, and RPO vendors where needed.
  • Brief partners on role requirements, track performance, and ensure quality and cost-effectiveness of external sourcing.
  • Negotiate terms and maintain strong working relationships with partners across the region.

5. Hiring Manager Partnership & Reporting

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, define scorecards, and advise on market realities.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from intake to offer and closing.
  • Track and report on key hiring metrics: time-to-fill, pipeline coverage, source effectiveness, and offer acceptance rates.
