Job Description

Responsibilities

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented QS & Project Executive to support both the commercial and project management functions of our construction operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for quantity measurement, cost estimation, quotations, progress claims, contract administration, and project coordination to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and profitably.

The candidate will work closely with Project Managers, site teams, clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors to support the successful delivery of ERSS and civil engineering projects.

Job Responsibilities

Quantity Surveying / Commercial Duties

  • Perform quantity take-offs and measurements from drawings and project requirements.

  • Prepare quotations, cost estimates, and tender submissions.

  • Review supplier and subcontractor quotations.

  • Prepare and submit progress claims to clients.

  • Prepare variation claims and monitor changes in project scope.

  • Track project costs and support cost control activities.

  • Maintain contract documentation and commercial records.

  • Assist in contract negotiations and commercial discussions.

Project Coordination Duties

  • Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Supervisors, and site teams on project requirements.

  • Monitor project progress and follow up on outstanding matters.

  • Liaise with clients, consultants, main contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors.

  • Support project planning, scheduling, and reporting.

  • Assist in resolving project coordination issues.

  • Ensure timely submission of project documents and reports.

  • Maintain proper project records and documentation.

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.

  • 2–5 years of experience in quantity surveying, contracts, or project coordination.

  • Experience in civil engineering, ERSS, excavation, foundation, or specialist construction works is an advantage.

  • Familiar with construction drawings, measurements, quotations, and claims.

  • Good knowledge of construction processes and contract administration.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.

  • Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Skills Advantage

  • Experience with ERSS works such as sheet piles, strutting, diaphragm walls, bored piling, and excavation works.

  • Familiarity with construction tendering and progress payment procedures.

  • Experience working with main contractors and consultants.
