Team Leader Human Resource (Supermarket / Hypermarket)

Job description:

We are looking for a dynamic and hands-on HR Executive to support our store operations. This role is ideal for HR professionals who enjoy working closely with retail teams and managing manpower in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end recruitment for store operations including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and onboarding.
• Work closely with Store Managers and Department Heads to support manpower planning and staffing requirements.
• Handle Employee Relations (ER) and Industrial Relations (IR) matters including disciplinary issues, counselling, and staff grievances at Store.
• Assist in payroll preparation, attendance verification, and ensure accuracy of employee records.
• Maintain HR documentation and update employee information in the HR system.
• Ensure HR practices comply with company policies and Malaysian labour laws.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management from time to time to support the smooth operation of the business.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years in HR or Retails experience, preferably in the retail industry.
• Experience handling recruitment, payroll coordination, ER & IR matters.
• Familiar with HR systems; experience using Rymnet system will be an added advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Working Hours:

• Monday – Saturday (9am to 6pm)
• Able to work according to retail operational hours when required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
