Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to support and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure across server, virtualization, network, backup, and security environments. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of infrastructure while supporting implementation, system upgrades, and infrastructure enhancement projects.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders, project teams, and vendors to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Administration

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments and enterprise infrastructure.
• Support virtualization platforms such as VMware ESXi, vCenter, vSAN, Nutanix HCI, or equivalent technologies.
• Administer enterprise network infrastructure, including switches, routers, wireless networks, and firewall services.
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other core infrastructure services.
• Support enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions using Veeam or similar technologies.
• Manage server, storage, NAS, SSL certificates, and infrastructure lifecycle activities.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity to ensure optimal operations.

Project Delivery

• Participate in infrastructure implementation, deployment, commissioning, migration, and technology refresh initiatives.
• Support server provisioning, virtual machine deployment, infrastructure upgrades, and system integration activities.
• Perform infrastructure testing, validation, and acceptance activities.
• Prepare technical documentation, configuration guides, and operational procedures.

Operations & Support

• Troubleshoot infrastructure, server, network, and virtualization issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Work closely with vendors and internal teams to resolve infrastructure incidents.
• Support server room relocation, hardware refresh, and infrastructure improvement projects.
• Maintain accurate infrastructure documentation and asset records.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in infrastructure support, systems engineering, or infrastructure administration.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server administration.
• Experience with VMware ESXi, vCenter, Nutanix HCI, or other enterprise virtualization platforms.
• Good understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and network troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting enterprise backup solutions such as Veeam or equivalent.
• Knowledge of enterprise networking, firewalls, wireless infrastructure, and security best practices.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
• Passion for learning new technologies and continuously improving technical knowledge.
