Maybank Singapore Hiring! Full Time AVP-VP, Regulatory Compliance Testing in - Ricebowl

About the Role

Supports the Head, Regulatory Compliance Testing (RCT), Singapore, in identifying potential control gaps, strengthening processes, mitigating risks, and maintaining high compliance standards across Maybank Singapore Limited.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain QA, monitoring, and control testing frameworks for Regulatory Compliance and Financial Crime Compliance (FCC).
• Conduct independent reviews and testing to assess compliance with regulatory requirements, internal standards, and control effectiveness.
• Identify control gaps, recommend improvements, and track remediation to closure.
• Execute monitoring programmes to provide assurance on compliance with Singapore regulatory requirements.
• Leverage data analytics and sampling methodologies to enhance testing and monitoring effectiveness.
• Partner with Business Units and Risk teams to drive sustainable compliance improvements.
• Prepare and present QA, monitoring, and compliance reports, dashboards, and key insights to Senior Management and compliance committees.
• Support regulatory reporting, governance requirements, and compliance performance tracking.
• Review and enhance compliance policies, procedures, and frameworks to ensure alignment with regulatory and Group standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant professional qualification in Banking & Finance, or a related discipline
• Proficiency in data analytics tools and techniques; possession of a relevant ICA Diploma or equivalent certification is an advantage.
• 6–10 years of experience in the banking industry, with exposure to areas such as audit, compliance, or risk management.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a keen interest in leveraging data analytics and emerging technologies (e.g., Generative AI) to enhance monitoring and assurance activities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and high-quality reports.
