Responsibilities

Finance & HR Executive / Finance & HR Expert


About the Role


We are looking for a proactive Finance & HR Expert to oversee finance, payroll, and human resource operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple responsibilities, and ensuring compliance with Malaysian employment and statutory regulations.


Key Responsibilities


Finance & Payroll


* Process monthly payroll accurately and on time.

* Ensure compliance with EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, and HRD Corp requirements.

* Prepare payroll reports and maintain payroll records.

* Handle employee claims, reimbursements, and payroll adjustments.

* Support month-end financial reporting and liaise with auditors, tax agents, and statutory bodies when required.


Human Resources


* Manage the full recruitment process, including sourcing, interviews, onboarding, and offboarding.

* Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, confirmation letters, and other HR documents.

* Maintain employee records and HR documentation.

* Support employee engagement initiatives and HR administration.

* Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and best practices.


Immigration & Compliance


* Coordinate Employment Pass (EP), Professional Visit Pass (PVP), Dependant Pass, and other work pass applications.

* Liaise with MDEC, MYXpats, ESD, and the Immigration Department.

* Monitor work pass renewals and ensure compliance with Malaysian immigration and employment regulations.


Requirements


* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

* Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Finance, Payroll, and Human Resources.

* Strong knowledge of Malaysian payroll, employment laws, and statutory requirements.

* Experience managing recruitment and the employee lifecycle.

* Experience with MDEC, MYXpats, ESD, or Immigration processes is an added advantage.

* Familiarity with payroll or accounting software such as SQL Payroll, AutoCount, QuickBooks, Xero, or similar.

* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.

* Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.

* Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality.
