Job Description

Responsibilities

Fund Operations Manager

The Fund Operations Manager supports the regional Fund Operations team by overseeing the daily operational activities of a portfolio of investment funds. Reporting to the Regional Head of Fund Operations, the role ensures fund transactions, valuations, reconciliations, regulatory processes, and service-provider activities are completed accurately and on time.

Key responsibilities

  • Process and oversee daily fund transactions for group-managed funds and affiliated entities.
  • Monitor fund activity, review broker and cash reconciliations, and process corporate actions.
  • Review daily and monthly NAV calculations, investment positions, and adherence to valuation policies.
  • Investigate and resolve data or tolerance exceptions from third-party fund administrators.
  • Ensure subscriptions, redemptions, and other dealing activities are processed promptly by service providers.
  • Coordinate with brokers, custodians, fund administrators, auditors, and internal teams including Risk, Compliance, and Investor Relations.
  • Monitor investment restrictions and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Review financial statements, support external audit queries, and provide requested documentation.
  • Prepare payments and monitor the accuracy of fund expenses.
  • Review fund documents, side letters, and agreements, coordinating document management internally.
  • Conduct KYC and AML checks on counterparties.
  • Support FATCA and CRS compliance programmes.
  • Contribute to group projects and take on other assignments from regional or head-office leadership as needed.

Required profile

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least five years’ experience in fund accounting or fund administration within asset management.
  • Understanding of investment funds and fund structures.
  • Strong analytical, administrative, organisational, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Proficiency with standard office productivity tools.
  • Strong spoken and written English.

Preferred qualifications

  • CPA qualification.
  • Knowledge of both listed and private-equity fund structures, particularly Cayman Islands, UCITS, and Singapore structures.
