全职 Product Development Engineer (Casting - Quality - Machining) Jobs, salary up to MYR 5,500 in HICOM Diecastings Sdn Bhd Shah Alam - Ricebowl

We are looking for a Product Development Engineer to support product development, manufacturing process improvement, and quality improvement activities. The successful candidate will be involved in areas related to Casting, Machining, and Quality based on business requirements and interview assessment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support product development activities from initial concept, feasibility study, trial validation, process improvement, until mass production implementation.
• Review product designs, engineering specifications, and customer requirements to ensure manufacturing feasibility.
• Support the development and improvement of casting and machining processes to achieve product quality, productivity, and cost objectives.
• Conduct technical evaluation and provide recommendations related to product design, materials, tooling, and manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Production, Quality, Tooling, and Customer teams to resolve technical issues and support project execution.
• Support APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) activities including DFMEA, PFMEA, Process Flow Diagram, Control Plan, and related quality documentation.
• Assist in preparing, reviewing, and maintaining engineering documents, quality records, process specifications, and technical reports.
• Analyze manufacturing processes to identify improvement opportunities, reduce defects, minimize waste, and enhance product performance.
• Participate in product trial, process validation, inspection activities, and continuous improvement projects.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective action activities for product and process-related issues.
• Assist in customer requirement reviews, quality audits, and compliance activities.
• Prepare technical reports, project updates, and presentations related to product development and improvement activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates with CGPA 3.20 and above are encouraged to apply.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in product development, manufacturing, casting, machining, or quality engineering is preferred.
• Basic knowledge in die casting, machining processes, manufacturing processes, and quality tools.
• Familiarity with APQP, PFMEA, Control Plan, and engineering drawings is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of CAD software (SolidWorks/AutoCAD) is an advantage.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and collaborate effectively in a manufacturing environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month

• Shah Alam: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
