Job Summary
1. The Japanese-Speaking Emergency Support Representative plays a critical role in handling urgent and
sensitive situations by providing timely, calm, and effective support to individuals experiencing emergencies or
distress.
• The role requires strong emotional intelligence, rapid decision-making, composure under pressure,
and clear communication in both Japanese and English.
• The successful candidate will support emergency-related interactions, assess urgency, gather accurate
information, provide appropriate guidance, and coordinate effectively with relevant teams or responders.
• This position is ideal for candidates who can remain professional in high-pressure, emotionally
charged, and time-sensitive situations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Respond to emergency and distress situations
• Handle urgent calls, cases, or communications with professionalism, empathy, and urgency.
• Support individuals facing medical, emotional, safety, or crisis-related situations.
• Provide reassurance while maintaining focus on next-step actions and response procedures.
2. Assess urgency and gather critical information
• Quickly obtain key details such as location, nature of incident, immediate risks, and current condition of affected individuals.
• Ask clear and structured questions to assess severity and determine appropriate next actions.
• Ensure all collected information is documented accurately and completely.
3. Provide clear, concise, and supportive communication
• Communicate calmly and effectively during complex or high-stress interactions.
• Adjust communication style to suit distressed individuals while maintaining clarity and control.
• Deliver instructions, updates, and guidance in a way that is easy to understand and act on.
4. Support crisis and incident management
• Coordinate with internal teams, emergency contacts, or relevant service providers as required
