About the Company

Our client is a leading industrial infrastructure operator playing a critical role in Singapore’s essential services sector. As part of its continued growth and operational excellence journey, the company is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee plant operations, lead multidisciplinary teams, and ensure the highest standards of safety, environmental compliance, and operational performance.

This is an excellent opportunity for an operations leader with a background in power generation, utilities, waste management, chemical processing, petrochemicals, manufacturing, or other continuous process industries to join a business focused on operational excellence, sustainability, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Plant Operations: Oversee the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the plant, ensuring optimal performance, operational reliability, and business continuity.
• Drive HSSE & Compliance: Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety, Security, Environmental (HSSE), and regulatory requirements while promoting a strong safety culture.
• Champion Operational Excellence: Drive continuous improvement initiatives through process optimisation, reliability engineering, predictive maintenance, and operational best practices.
• Lead Teams & Stakeholders: Manage and develop multidisciplinary operations teams while collaborating with regulators, contractors, customers, and internal stakeholders.
• Strategic Operations Management: Oversee departmental resources, budgets, audits, and operational planning to support long-term business objectives and sustainable plant performance.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
• 8–10 years’ experience in industrial plant operations, preferably within power generation, utilities, chemicals, manufacturing, waste management, or other continuous process industries.
• Strong knowledge of plant operations, HSSE, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and continuous improvement mindset, with a track record of driving operational performance.
