Company Overview

BRK International Pte Ltd is a leading engineering consulting and construction firm in Singapore, specializing in foundation works, construction supervision, design consultancy, project and construction management, HR, quantity surveying, structural inspection, and safety review.

Job Summary

The Scheduler will lead construction planning and scheduling activities using Primavera P6 and 4D BIM, ensuring effective programme control, risk identification, and stakeholder collaboration for complex projects.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, review, and control construction programmes using Primavera P6 to ensure timely project delivery
  • Independently assess contractors’ schedules and construction methodologies to identify critical paths and potential delays
  • Integrate 4D BIM models with scheduling data to enhance project visualization and coordination
  • Proactively identify, flag, and escalate interface and handover risks between project packages
  • Apply knowledge of time-related contractual provisions and Extension of Time (EOT) principles to manage schedule impacts
  • Manage large datasets and integrate EDMS outputs (e.g., ProjectWise deliverables and metadata) into Primavera P6 for accurate reporting
  • Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Power Query and Pivot Tables, to analyze and report scheduling data
  • Use Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, and Word to prepare and present clear, comprehensive project reports and presentations
  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels through strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Work independently with minimal supervision while contributing as a proactive team player in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment
  • Apply analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills to manage multiple projects under pressure

Required competencies and certifications

  • Degree in architecture, engineering, or a recognized relevant field accredited by PEB/BOA Singapore or equivalent accreditation acceptable to the OIC

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of working experience with strong construction background, with at least 8 years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Experience in 4D BIM programme integration
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Power Query and Pivot Tables
  • Solid understanding of overall project life cycle
