The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving the overall business performance of the assigned territory for concrete pump rental services. The incumbent will lead market expansion, client acquisition, and operational coordination, with full accountability for key KPIs including contract value, collection rate, equipment utilization, and market share.

Job Resonsibilities:

• Develop and execute territory business strategies to achieve assigned targets in rental contracts, revenue collection, and market penetration
• Actively identify and acquire clients across property development, infrastructure, municipal, and industrial sectors
• Manage the full sales cycle independently, including lead generation, needs analysis, solution proposal, commercial negotiation, and contract closure
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships, ensuring high service quality and driving repeat business
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth equipment deployment, project execution, and service delivery
• Optimize equipment allocation and utilization within the territory to maximize operational efficiency and control costs
• Take full ownership of accounts receivable, ensuring timely collection and minimizing credit risk

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Marketing, or related fields
• Legally authorized to work in Malaysia and willing to be based in the assigned location with flexibility for regional travel
• Proficient in Mandarin and English for business communication (Bahasa Malaysia is an added advantage)
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in construction machinery or equipment rental industry; experience in concrete pump rental is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of the Malaysian construction market, industry practices, and CIDB-related regulations
• Proven ability to independently develop key accounts and manage the full business development cycle
• Knowledge of concrete pump specifications and application suitability for various construction projects
• Strong commercial acumen with capabilities in risk management, contract execution, and collections
• Highly results-driven, self-motivated, and able to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Remuneration: Attractive salary package with commission and performance-based incentives
