Senior Executive, HR

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full recruitment process for both factory and office positions — from advertising vacancies and conducting interviews to managing smooth onboarding experiences.
• Handle shop-floor employee relations, including listening to staff concerns, facilitating counselling discussions, and providing support in disciplinary procedures when needed.
• Ensure all HR practices align with Malaysian employment laws, internal company guidelines, and workplace safety regulations, especially within the manufacturing setting.
• Plan and track training initiatives for production teams to build capabilities, improve work performance, and meet operational training standards.
• Provide support in managing payroll inputs and attendance records, including shift planning, overtime monitoring, and leave tracking for operational staff.
• Lead employee engagement efforts by coordinating welfare programmes, staff motivation activities, and factory-focused team-building initiatives.
• Support HR documentation and audits related to compliance, ISO standards, and safety procedures required in the manufacturing industry.

Requirements

• At least Degree in Human Resource/Business Administration or any related field.
• A people-centric mindset, genuinely cares about employee well-being and is a good listener.
• At least 3 years of working experience in HR department.
• Experience working in Logistics industry is an added advantage.
• Comfortable engaging with employees on the factory floor and building positive relationships across all levels.
• Solid knowledge in payroll processing, IR, and labor compliance.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to balance empathy with professionalism.
• A team player with a proactive and solution-oriented attitude.
• Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters with discretion.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with HRIS systems is an advantage.
• Willing to travel between sites or support employee engagement initiatives as needed.
