Duties:
- Regularly assess depot performance through audits, KPI tracking, and service reviews; drive corrective actions where needed.
- Monitor and improve repair turnaround times and quality standards across the depot network.
- Analyze repair cost structures and implement cost‑saving initiatives without compromising safety or quality.
- Oversee the repair estimation, approval, and execution processes, ensuring alignment with IICL standards and company policies.
- Introduce best practices and new technologies to enhance repair productivity and reduce downtime.
- Ensure smooth and efficient gate activities at all depots
- Escalate critical issues to headquarters and coordinate with global teams on process improvements and system enhancements.
- Prepare regular performance reports on depot KPIs (repair turnaround, cost per unit, gate efficiency, customer complaints, etc.).
- Ensure all depot activities comply with local regulations, health & safety standards, and company policies.
- Conduct on‑site inspections and audits to verify compliance and identify improvement areas.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in container leasing, shipping, depot management, or logistics operations.
- IICL certification is required.
- Proven track record in managing depot networks, negotiating contracts, and controlling operational costs.
- Solid understanding of container repair standards (IICL, CSC), depot operational processes, and inventory management.
- Experience with Equipment Control, depot management systems (DMS), or similar digital platforms is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills – ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills – capable of influencing internal and external stakeholders.
- Analyze cost drivers and propose cost‑effective solutions.
- Strong team orientation.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with ERP or reporting tools.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English (written and spoken); proficiency in an additional Southeast Asian language is an advantage.
Remuneration package will be subject to variables such as experience, qualification, education etc.. Pay range is for reference only.
