Responsibilities

To assist with research sessions, assist with data collection and analysis, assist with internship programme (recruitment, selection, training and supervision). To assist with the documentation and managements of research collaborations, resourcing and communication with vendors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in marine biology, fisheries science, ecology, engineering, environmental science or related field

• At least 2 years’ experience supporting or conducting field research, including handling research applications and project documentations

• At least 5 years’ experience working with animals

• Strong written and verbal communication skills; experience liaising with external institutions and stakeholders

• Proven administrative experience : record-keeping (research/projects/publications/presentations/teaching), minute-taking, and internal reporting

• Experience coordinating student interns/volunteers: recruitment, onboarding, training, supervision, and performance tracking

• Competence in experimental design fundamentals and ability to support or lead research sessions

• Comfortable sourcing and communicating with vendors; basic procurement experience for research equipment and supplies

• Strong organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects

• Proficiency with office software, data/record management systems, and familiarity with reference management tools

• Good swimming skills

• Comfortable working outdoors

• Valid driver’s license with clean record; diving certification are advantage
