Job Description – Commis / Demi Chef de Partie / Chef de Partie

Key Responsibilities (All Positions)
- Prepare ingredients and assist with food preparation according to recipes and standards.
- Cook and plate dishes consistently while maintaining quality and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients (FIFO).
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Head Chef or Sous Chef.
Additional Responsibilities – Demi Chef de Partie
- Take responsibility for a designated kitchen section during service.
- Assist in supervising and guiding Commis chefs.
- Monitor ingredient quality and report stock shortages.
- Help maintain consistency in food quality and portion control.
- Support training and onboarding of new kitchen staff.
Additional Responsibilities – Chef de Partie
- Manage and oversee the daily operation of an assigned kitchen section.
- Lead and supervise Demi CDPs and Commis chefs during preparation and service.
- Ensure all dishes leaving the section meet quality and presentation standards.
- Plan daily mise en place and coordinate workflow within the section.
- Monitor inventory, minimize wastage, and assist with stock ordering.
- Support menu development, recipe improvements, and cost control initiatives.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and kitchen discipline.
- Assist the Sous Chef and Head Chef with operational and administrative duties as required.
Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
