Job Description

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Storage Agreements

  • Review, prepare, and manage Warehouse Storage Agreements (WSAs) and related legal documentation with suppliers
  • Work with supplier liability insurance requirements and coverage precedents to ensure consistency across the supplier base
  • Coordinate with internal and supplier contacts to resolve contract questions and secure timely execution of agreements
  • Maintain organised records of executed agreements, amendments, and insurance certificates

Supplier Setup in WMS

  • Configure new suppliers in Crane's Warehouse Management System (WMS), ensuring accurate account setup and data integrity
  • Coordinate EDI enablement and customer portal access as part of the onboarding workflow
  • Support ASN and 940 submission setup, working cross-functionally with IT and operations to confirm systems are functioning correctly before go-live
  • Follow and help refine the established supplier onboarding process to ensure consistent, repeatable setup across all new accounts

Supplier Support & Troubleshooting

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for suppliers experiencing operational or systems issues
  • Diagnose and resolve problems related to WMS, EDI, or portal access, escalating to IT or other internal teams as needed
  • Proactively communicate with suppliers to keep them informed of issue status and resolution timelines
  • Identify recurring issues and recommend process or system improvements to reduce future support volume

Qualifications

  • Experience in warehouse operations, supply chain, account management, or a related operations role
  • Familiarity with WMS platforms, EDI processes, and customer portal systems (or strong aptitude to learn quickly)
  • Comfort reviewing and administering legal/contractual documents (prior contract administration experience a plus)
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple supplier accounts and deadlines simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical supplier contacts
  • Problem-solving mindset with a bias toward proactive resolution
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with IT, legal, sales, and operations teams
