About the role

Kampung Elektrik is a multi-venue cultural and retail festival bringing together independent brands, live performance, music, and community across Katong. We are looking for a hands-on Stage Manager to keep our performances and programming running smoothly across the four-day event.

You will be the point person on the ground for each stage: making sure acts get on and off on time, and performers have what they need. It is a fast-paced, people-facing role suited to someone calm, organised, and comfortable solving problems in the moment.

What you will do

• Run the stage schedule and keep performances on time
• Liaise with stage crew to make sure cues and changeovers run cleanly
• Play the right video loop or slides at the right time
• Handle last-minute changes and troubleshoot issues as they come up
• Support setup and pack-down of stage areas

What we are looking for

• Some experience in event, stage, or production coordination (informal)
• Strong organisation and time-keeping
• Confident communicator who can direct people politely under pressure
• Able to stay calm and think on your feet
• Comfortable working evenings
• Available across the event dates, including setup on 12 August

Nice to have

• Background in live music, theatre, or festivals
