Daily golf course marshal and bag station duties

1. Check the pace of play; course closure for inclement weather

2. Ensure golfers tee up on time and are properly attired

3. Provide on-course assistance, ensuring appropriate behaviour and etiquette

4. Ensure golfers comply with golf rules and safety at all times

5. Reports issues and situations (time pace delay) to superior timely

6. First to attend on-course issues such as dangerous play and emergency

7. Monitor inclement weather, adhere to lightning procedure; take charge of evacuation and safety of golfers

8. Ensure starters maintain an accurate and complete set of starter sheet

9. Strongly enforce course rules and policies such as repairing ball marks, filling divots, and maintaining acceptable pace-of-play

10. Engage/interact professional with golfers in a positive manner

11. Deliver responsibly daily routine tasks, participate in roll calls and comply with the department’s rules and SOPs

12. With guidance from superior, act and resolve feedback/complaints

13. Support Club’s events, competitions, operations and administration

Require:

4. Able to adapt and work in a large team successfully.

5. Understand the demands of working in the hospitality and service industry

6. Ability to commit 5-days work week, weekends, PH and where necessary beyond official hours.
