Job Summary

You will follow dentists' written instructions to design and produce dental items using Dental CAD software, CAM devices, and 3D printers. You will communicate with dentists, perform dental ceramics work, adjust appliances, and ensure quality and accuracy in all dental products.

Responsibilities

• Follow detailed written instructions from dentists to produce dental items accurately
• Design dental appliances using Dental CAD software such as 3Shape and Exocad to meet case requirements
• Operate CAM manufacturing devices and 3D printers to fabricate dental products
• Communicate effectively with dentists to clarify case details and ensure product specifications
• Carve, mould, cast, grind, and polish dental items using complex equipment to achieve required quality
• Inspect finished dental items for correct color, design, and quality standards before delivery
• Adjust and repair dental appliances to ensure proper fit and function
• Perform dental ceramics tasks including Build-Up and Layering to create aesthetic restorations
• Maintain accurate patient records related to dental appliance production and modifications
• Specialize in fixed prosthodontics, focusing on crown and bridge work
• Design and produce clear aligners and retainers using Dental CAD software to correct teeth positioning
• Fabricate implant screw-retained, cementable restorations, and full mouth rehabilitation appliances
• Design 3D splints and dentures using CAD software for patient treatment plans
• Create smile designs and veneers for smile makeovers to enhance patient aesthetics
• Collaborate with senior technicians for on-the-job training and case support as needed

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience working in a dental laboratory
• Proficiency in Dental CAD software such as 3Shape and Exocad

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience with CAM manufacturing devices and 3D printing technology
• Skills in dental ceramics including Build-Up and Layering techniques
