About August Society
August Society is a Singapore-based premium sustainable swimwear and resortwear brand with a presence across Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Thailand. We operate through a network of hotel boutiques, independent stockists, and our own e-commerce channel. We are a small, close-knit team building toward regional scale.
The Role
This role suits someone who takes pride in doing things properly, communicates proactively, and can manage multiple moving pieces without dropping the ball. You will be working within structured SOPs and systems, with clear processes to follow and escalation paths when needed.
KeyResponsibilities
Showroom and Stockist Management
Manage day-to-day showroom operations including customer visits, stock presentation, and partner liaison
Visit and maintain relationships with Singapore consignment stockists and hotel boutique partners
Monitor stock levels across all Singapore locations, flag low stock, and coordinate restocking proactively
Ensure all partner locations are well-stocked, correctly displayed, and inventory is accurately recorded
Inventory and Logistics Coordination
Coordinate with our Singapore warehouse (Envregy) on all inbound, outbound, and storage activities
Plan and submit warehouse requests with minimum one week advance notice for large movements or events
Manage stock transfers between Singapore and regional consignment locations as directed
Maintain accurate inventory records across Shopify and internal tracking systems
Coordinate outbound shipments to regional partners and ensure fulfilment is accurate and timely
Customer Service
Handle customer enquiries, returns, and exchanges across email andWhatsApp
Resolve issues independently within established guidelines and escalate when appropriate
Maintain August Society's service standards across all customer touch points
Administration and Reporting
Process invoices and manage B2B documentation for partner stores
Maintain accurate records of orders, inventory movements, and partner activity
Update and maintain the showroom calendar and partner schedules
Support events, trade fairs, and brand activations including preparation, logistics, and on-site execution
Complete handover documentation before any leave period
What We AreLooking For
2 to 4 years of experience in operations, retail sales, or e-commerce —ideally in fashion, lifestyle, or premium consumer goods
Comfortable with systems and technology — Shopify, ERP tools, or similar
Strong organisational skills and the ability to anticipate what needs to happen before being asked
Proactive communicator who flags issues early and follows up without prompting
Meticulous attention to detail and a track record of following processes reliably
Able to work independently while staying aligned with a remote manager
Available to work both Saturday and Sunday, with two flexible weekdays off in lieu
Working Hours
This role requires weekend availability as our showroom and stockist operations run seven days a week. The working pattern is 10am to 5pm on both Saturday and Sunday, with two flexible weekdays off in lieu. Weekday off days are agreed in coordination with the team based on operational needs.
