Senior Sales Manager - Singapore


About the role


As a Senior Sales Manager at Industrious, you will be responsible for the active requisition of members by generating and creating direct sales opportunities. You will be resourceful and think creatively to drive sales in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

A successful Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for ensuring the achievement of sales targets through the accurate forecasting of sales opportunities and converting leads to deals.

The Senior Sales Manager will report to the Director of Sales, APAC.


What you’ll do


A Senior Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by managing key client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and developing effective sales strategies. This role involves conducting market research, analyzing customer needs, negotiating contracts, and delivering presentations to clients. The Senior Sales Manager also tracks sales performance metrics, collaborates with cross-functional teams, and stays informed about industry trends to ensure alignment with company goals and maximize market potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a sales strategy that aligns with the company's goals and targets.
  • Set and monitor performance targets of the sales team to ensure they are met or exceeded.


  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients while managing a robust pipeline of leads.


  • Analyze sales data to enhance sales performance and inform strategy decisions.


  • Work closely with the marketing team to create and execute effective campaigns.


  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences to enhance brand visibility.


  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.


  • Coordinate sales activities across multiple locations for seamless operations.


  • Collaborate with operations and finance departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.


  • Motivate and inspire the sales team to achieve their targets.


Be the Sales Guru

  • Prospect for new leaders through brokers, cold calling, social media outreach, and networking events while managing inbound leads.
  • Generate leads and drive sales to ensure full member occupancy across Industrious locations
  • Run the entire sales process from qualification to close this includes prospecting, outreaching, and generating leads, and pitching, touring, negotiating, and closing sales
  • Execute strategic sales plans to maximise business opportunities and achieve sustainable growth and success
  • Work closely with the Community Executives team to optimise member onboarding and enhance the member experience
  • Utilize tracking and automation tools to efficiently input, monitor, and analyze data, developing actionable business plans.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts of opportunities to ensure achievement of sales targets
  • Develop, articulate and deliver complex concepts, business solutions, and sales presentations
  • Understand members’ organisational dynamics to better handle renewal discussions and ensure retention of existing memberships


Play a part in creating the Community

  • Serve as a brand ambassador, effectively communicating the Industrious ethos to maximize conversion rates and member satisfaction.
  • Attend relevant networking events to build a database of potential clients and partners
  • Forge new relationships with like-minded businesses, community organisations, industry thought leaders, potential members and partners, such as brokers, and maintain the relationships
  • Build a strong pipeline or waitlist of potential members for current and future Industrious locations


Who you are


Requirements:

  • At least 8 years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience managing a team of sales professionals across multiple locations.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using data to drive decision-making.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Experience in the coworking or real estate industry is a plus.


Qualities

  • Able to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Have strong organisational and planning skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills; confident interacting with vendors, speakers and cross-company teams at all different levels of seniority
  • Self-starter with a good attitude towards learning
