Company Description Our client is a competence solutions provider in the field of test and measuring, automation and semiconductor sector based in Bayan Lepas, Penang Malaysia.

Role Description The Test Handler Service Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Bayan Lepas. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting test handlers and related equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. Daily activities include performing scheduled preventive maintenance, diagnosing hardware and software issues, coordinating repairs with vendors, and documenting service activities and equipment status. The Test Handler Service Engineer also collaborates with production and engineering teams to support continuous improvement, implement safety and quality standards, and provide technical guidance to operators. The role may involve shift work and occasional support during off-hours to meet operational needs.

Diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related technical field.

• echnical skills in semiconductor test and experience with equipment maintenance, diagnostics, and repair in a manufacturing or test environment.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation, service manuals, and equipment schematics.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
• Prior experience in semiconductor manufacturing or test operations is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
