Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and creative Art Teacher to inspire children aged 3–16 through engaging art lessons, fostering creativity in a positive and enjoyable learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct art classes for children aged 3–16 years to develop their artistic skills and creativity
• Teach drawing, painting, mixed media, and other creative art techniques to enhance students’ artistic abilities
• Prepare detailed lesson plans and teaching materials aligned with the curriculum to ensure structured learning
• Guide and encourage students according to their individual learning abilities to support their artistic growth
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised classroom environment to promote effective learning
• Build positive relationships with students and parents to foster a supportive community
• Monitor students’ progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to improve their skills
• Assist in organising and supporting exhibitions, competitions, workshops, holiday programmes, and school events to enrich students’ experiences
• Support daily centre operations as needed to ensure smooth functioning

Required competencies and certifications

• Able to communicate effectively in both English and Mandarin to teach and engage with students and parents

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, Design, or a related field
• Prior teaching experience in art education (training provided for suitable candidates)
• Strong drawing and painting skills demonstrated through teaching or practice
• Good classroom management and communication skills to maintain an effective learning environment
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Creative, patient, energetic, and responsible attitude
• Willingness to work on weekends with a weekday off provided
