Main Responsibilities

- Provide tuition and academic support in Mandarin and related subjects to students aged 5 to 12 years.

- Plan, prepare, and implement structured teaching, review, and learning activities classes (physically and/or online).

- Develop and use effective teaching materials and teaching aids to support student learning.

- Adapt teaching methods and materials according to students’ needs, learning styles, and interests.

- Provide a classroom environment conducive to the teaching and learning process.

- Set clear learning objectives and communicate them effectively to students.

- Monitor and evaluate student academic performance and behavioural development.

- Prepare, administer, and mark tests, assignments, and examinations.

- Prepare student performance reports and communicate with parents and colleagues when necessary.

- Enforce rules and maintain discipline in the classroom to ensure a safe and orderly learning environment.

- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities.

- Attend and support activities and events organized by the center.

- Handle inquiries from parents and walk-in prospects in a professional manner.

- Support the center's marketing and promotional efforts, including sales-related tasks when required.

- Ensure the safety and well-being of students and staff within the learning center.

- Maintain the cleanliness of the center and ensure that garbage is bagged and disposed of in the designated area daily.

Qualifications

- 1 to 3 years of experience in teaching.

- Knowledge of the Malaysian school curriculum is an advantage.

- Able to use technology and online learning platforms well.

- Positive, flexible, and eager to learn and grow.

- Have a strong interest in the field of education and enjoy working with children and adolescents.

- Have good communication, interpersonal, and management skills.

- Able to work independently as well as in a team.

- Willing to work at the designated location (Sri Petaling, Kuala Lumpur).

Working Hours

Tuesday to Friday: 9.30am – 9.00pm

Saturday: 9.00am – 6.00pm

Sunday & Monday: OFF

Salary & Benefits

Monthly salary: RM2,000 - RM2,500

Contributions: EPF, SOCSO, and EIS provided

Rental allowance: Provided if not from the local area

Telephone allowance: Provided
