1. Full Set of Accounts & General Ledger
- End-to-End Accounting: Manage and oversee the full set of accounts, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Accounts Payable (AP).
- Month-End/Year-End Closings: Perform timely month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and accrual/prepayment schedules.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets for management review.
2. Taxation & Statutory Compliance
- Tax Submissions: Ensure accurate computation and timely filing of corporate tax, withholding tax, and indirect taxes (e.g., SST / GST filings, as applicable).
- Statutory Audits: Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretarial agencies, preparing audit schedules, financial statements, and compliance documentation.
- Regulatory Adherence: Ensure all financial operations comply with local Financial Reporting Standards (FRS / MFRS / IFRS) and statutory requirements.
3. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management
- Cash Flow Tracking: Monitor daily cash flow positions, manage working capital, and prepare short-term cash flow forecasts.
- AP/AR Control: Oversee debt collection efforts, aging report reviews, and vendor payment processing to maintain healthy liquidity and financial control.
4. Process Improvement & Internal Controls
- Control Enforcement: Strengthen internal control processes to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with company financial policies.
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement efficiencies in accounting workflows, financial software systems, and reporting processes.
Key Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, or equivalent).
- Experience: Minimum 4 to 6 years of relevant working experience, with proven, hands-on expertise in handling a full set of accounts.
- Technical Expertise:
- Solid understanding of local tax laws, statutory regulations, and accounting standards (FRS/MFRS/IFRS).
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB, SAP, or SQL) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, financial formulas).
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Excellent time-management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: RM3,011.56 - RM6,000.00 per month
