Job Summary

We seek a motivated Field Application Scientist to deliver technical support, customer training, and pre-sales assistance for life science products, enabling effective adoption and driving customer success.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshoot Cell Biology and Proteomics products to resolve customer issues efficiently
• Deliver customer training and application support to ensure effective product adoption and optimized usage
• Assist the sales team by conducting product demonstrations and engaging in technical discussions with customers to support sales objectives
• Serve as the technical subject matter expert for assigned products, offering expert guidance and solutions
• Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and competitor technologies to inform product positioning and customer advice
• Collaborate independently and within teams to achieve business and customer support goals

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science or related discipline; MSc or PhD qualifications are preferred
• Minimum of three years of relevant experience is preferred
• Experience with FPLC and laboratory automation is advantageous

Required competencies and certifications

• Knowledge of Proteomics and Cell Biology, including protein purification, siRNA, cellular analysis, high-content screening, and laboratory automation
• Strong analytical skills demonstrated by applying systematic, real-time problem-solving approaches in technical support contexts
• Excellent interpersonal skills with strong written and verbal communication abilities to engage effectively with customers and internal teams
• Self-motivated, professional, and customer-focused attitude essential for independent and collaborative work
• Applicants must currently be based in Singapore
