To provide temporary teaching coverage during the primary Science teacher’s medical leave, ensuring smooth continuity of learning, consistent lesson delivery, and maintenance of academic standards across the assigned year groups.

Key Responsibilities1. Teaching & Lesson Delivery (Years 7–9)

· Deliver Science lessons according to the existing scheme of work and syllabus requirements.

· Simplify complex concepts and ensure clarity of instruction, leveraging strong subject-knowledge background.

· Facilitate engaging, purposeful learning experiences that align with curriculum expectations.

2. Classroom Management & Student Engagement

· Maintain a safe, positive, and respectful classroom climate.

· Implement effective behaviour management strategies.

· Encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and active participation among students.

3. Assessment, Progress Monitoring & Feedback

· Conduct short formative assessments (e.g., quizzes, questioning, in-class checks) to monitor students’ understanding.

· Mark and review student work in a timely manner.

· Provide constructive feedback to support learning development.

· Identify students requiring additional support and adjust teaching approaches as necessary.

4. Lesson Continuity, Coverage & Documentation

· Follow existing lesson plans and pacing guides while making reasonable adjustments to support student comprehension.

· Maintain accurate records of lessons delivered, content covered, and student performance.

· Prepare a clear handover summary for the returning Science teacher.

5. Collaboration & Professional Conduct

· Liaise with the Science Department regarding lesson progression, upcoming topics, and any academic concerns.

· Uphold the school’s standards of professionalism, safeguarding, and confidentiality.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
