Supply Chain ManagerRole Description

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring the efficient flow of goods, materials, and information from suppliers to customers. In this role, you will develop supply chain strategies, improve operational efficiency, manage supplier relationships, and ensure inventory availability while balancing cost, quality, and service performance.

You will collaborate with procurement, logistics, manufacturing, warehouse operations, sales, finance, and external suppliers to coordinate demand planning, inventory management, transportation, and distribution activities. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive continuous improvement and support organizational growth through effective supply chain management.

Key responsibilities include developing supply chain strategies, managing procurement and inventory levels, optimizing logistics networks, monitoring supplier performance, implementing process improvements, mitigating supply chain risks, and ensuring compliance with quality, regulatory, and safety standards. The Supply Chain Manager will also oversee forecasting, capacity planning, ERP optimization, and performance reporting while fostering strong cross-functional collaboration.

Success in this role requires strategic thinking, operational expertise, stakeholder management, and the ability to make data-driven decisions that enhance supply chain resilience, customer satisfaction, and overall business performance.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory, logistics, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock availability while minimizing carrying costs.
  • Lead demand planning, forecasting, and supply planning activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and negotiate contracts and service agreements.
  • Optimize transportation networks and warehouse operations for efficiency.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks and business continuity challenges.
  • Analyze supply chain performance using KPIs and operational metrics.
  • Implement Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with finance, sales, production, and operations teams to improve business performance.
  • Oversee ERP and supply chain management systems to improve data accuracy and visibility.
  • Prepare executive reports, dashboards, and strategic recommendations.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing supply chain teams.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain management, procurement, logistics, inventory control, and demand planning.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), transportation management systems (TMS), and inventory optimization tools.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, and operational excellence methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and supply chain analytics tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and strategic initiatives.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
  • Professional certifications such as APICS/ASCM, CSCP, CPIM, or CPSM are advantageous.
