Responsibilities
Overview of the Role
As a Driver cum Warehouse Assistant, you will support daily warehouse operations and ensure timely delivery of goods. This role combines transportation, inventory handling, and warehouse support to maintain efficient operations and service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Driving Duties
Safely operate company vehicles to deliver goods.
Load, unload, and secure items for transportation.
Verify delivery documents and obtain required acknowledgements.
Conduct basic vehicle checks and report any issues.
Plan delivery routes and comply with traffic regulations.
Warehouse Operations
Receive, inspect, store, pick, and pack goods accurately.
Assist with inventory checks and stock accuracy.
Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety.
Support store order fulfillment and daily warehouse operations.
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain accurate delivery and inventory records.
Provide updates on delivery status and operational issues.
Follow all safety policies, procedures, and proper handling practices.
Job Requirements
Experience & Skills
Previous experience in driving or warehouse operations preferred.
Valid Class 4 Driving License with a clean driving record.
Basic knowledge of warehouse receiving, storage, and dispatch processes.
Able to lift and move goods during delivery process
Detail-oriented, reliable, and safety-conscious.
Able to work flexible hours when required.
