Site Safety Supervisor (SSS)

Location: Johor Bahru

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and responsible Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) to oversee and maintain workplace safety at our construction sites. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with safety regulations, conduct regular site inspections, and promote a safe working environment for all personnel.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and enforce compliance with site safety rules and regulations.

- Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify potential hazards.

- Ensure all workers comply with Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) requirements.

- Conduct toolbox meetings and safety briefings.

- Prepare and maintain safety reports, records, and documentation.

- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective actions.

- Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and relevant authorities on safety matters.

- Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by all workers.

- Promote a strong safety culture across the project site.

Requirements

- Valid Yellow Book (Site Safety Supervisor) certification.

- Experience in the construction industry is an added advantage.

- Good knowledge of OSHA requirements and construction site safety practices.

- Responsible, disciplined, proactive, and committed.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Able to work independently and under pressure.

- Willing to travel or be based at project sites in Johor Bahru.

Job Type

- Contract (Based on Project Period)

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month

Work Location: On the road
