Job Summary

We are looking for an Accountant to support financial reporting, accounting controls, and reconciliation activities. This role will work closely with the Shared Service Center (SSC) team to ensure accuracy of financial data, proper documentation, and timely completion of month-end closing activities.

The ideal candidate should have a strong accounting foundation, good analytical skills, and experience with reconciliations, journal entries, and ERP systems (SAP preferred).

Key Responsibilities

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
• Review journal entries, accruals, and provisions to ensure accuracy and proper account coding
• Maintain accrual listings and coordinate postings with the Shared Service Center
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and follow up on outstanding items
• Perform bank reconciliation reviews and investigate discrepancies
• Support SAP and Treasury Management System (TMS) reconciliation activities
• Assist with P&L review, variance analysis, and financial reporting
• Support intercompany reconciliation and fixed asset accounting activities
• Review supplier invoice postings and ensure proper documentation and approvals
• Prepare supporting schedules and documents for audit purposes
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, local accounting standards, and company policies
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities through data collection and analysis

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience
• Experience in financial reporting, reconciliation, or general ledger activities
• Basic knowledge of IFRS / local GAAP accounting standards
• Experience using ERP systems; SAP experience is an advantage
• Strong Excel skills and ability to work with financial data
• Good attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to manage deadlines, especially during financial closing periods
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with shared service teams
