Role Overview

The Product Specialist will be responsible for supporting the company’s product strategy, market positioning, and promotional activities within the power tools segment. This role combines product management, market analysis, and commercial exposure, requiring strong knowledge of power tools and accessories.

The successful candidate will analyze market trends and competitor products, optimize product line-ups and pricing, develop promotional strategies, and work closely with dealers and customers to strengthen product positioning in the market.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and rationalize product line-ups based on market needs and business strategy.
• Conduct technical and specification comparisons between company products and competitor brands.
• Analyze market pricing and recommend appropriate product price positioning.
• Develop and implement promotional strategies based on product and market insights.
• Conduct market research and identify trends, opportunities, and competitor activities.
• Support dealer visits, sales activities, and customer relationship management.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to strengthen product performance and market presence.

Requirements

• Prior experience or background in the power tools industry is essential.
• Good knowledge of power tools and accessories.
• Experience in product management, product marketing, market analysis, or related commercial functions.
• Exposure to dealer visits, sales activities, and customer relationship management.
• Strong analytical skills with a solid marketing-oriented mindset.
• Good computer literacy and administrative skills.
• Good command of English, as the role reports to Japanese management.
• Proactive, energetic, and driven personality.
• Must possess own transportation and be willing to travel.
