BUILDING SURVEYOR INTERN (4‑Month Internship)

Location: Petaling Jaya
Allowance: RM1,200/month (first 2 months) + RM1,400/month (next 2 months)
Potential full‑time placement upon completion

What You Will Learn & Do

• Conduct on‑site dilapidation surveys for residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
• Document existing building conditions, defects, and structural observations.
• Capture and classify defects to support the preparation of Dilapidation Survey Reports.
• Assist in AutoCAD drafting (basic level) for layout plans and defect mapping.
• Learn professional reporting standards used in the loss adjusting and building surveying industry.
• Work closely with senior surveyors and gain exposure to real‑world construction environments.

Who We Are Looking For

• Diploma/Degree students in Building Surveying, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related fields.
• Individuals who are detail‑oriented, willing to learn, and comfortable working on‑site.
• Basic AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.

2. JUNIOR / TRAINEE BUILDING SURVEYOR (Full‑Time)

Job Description

As a Trainee Building Surveyor, you will be trained to perform professional building inspections and technical reporting. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or individuals with minimal experience who want to build a long‑term career in the surveying and loss adjusting field.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct building and infrastructure surveys at various project sites.
• Identify, photograph, and classify building defects.
• Prepare existing condition reports, dilapidation reports, and technical documentation.
• Assist in AutoCAD drafting for defect mapping and layout plans.
• Support senior surveyors in fieldwork, data collection, and client reporting.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and professionalism in all documentation.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Building Surveying, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related fields.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• For Trainee Surveyor: SPM/STPM holders may apply (training provided).
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Basic AutoCAD skills preferred.
