Job Description

Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities

Inventory Management:

Monitor daily inventory transactions, including receiving, issuing, transfers, and adjustments.

Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS (Oracle) system.

Conduct daily cycle count, putaway audit, empty audit, hold checklist and annual stock takes.

Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.

Ensure FIFO/FEFO inventory practices are followed where applicable.

Monitor stock aging and obsolete inventory.

Prepare inventory reports for management.

Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure accurate picking, packing, and shipping.

Ensure all goods received match purchase orders and delivery documents.

Monitor stock levels and recommend replenishment.

Generate inventory movement and stock balance reports.

Support internal and external inventory audits.

Ensure compliance with company SOPs and inventory control procedures.

Assist in warehouse process improvement initiatives.

Maintain proper documentation for all inventory transactions.

Ensure warehouse cleanliness and compliance with 5S standards.

Perform root cause analysis for inventory variances.

Support WMS (Oracle) implementation and system improvements.

Train warehouse personnel on inventory control procedures when required.

WMS Super User Support & Management:

Act as the WMS Super User (Oracle), providing expert-level support to end users, ensuring that the system is used effectively across all warehouse functions.

Troubleshoot WMS-related issues, identify root causes, and collaborate with IT and warehouse teams to resolve problems quickly.

Configure WMS settings to align with warehouse operational requirements and business processes.

Train warehouse and operational staff on WMS functionalities, processes, and system updates.

Serve as the point of contact for WMS-related queries, ensuring timely resolution of issues.

Lead WMS migration/setup projects, including planning, execution, and coordination with IT and vendors

Execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure system accuracy, data integrity, and smooth transition to new WMS

Qualifications & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or higher in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in inventory control, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory role.

Proficiency in data management, reporting, and using WMS-related software tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Manhattan).

Familiarity with the logistics sector in Malaysia especially in Shah Alam, including local regulations and market dynamics.

Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and WMS-related software

Strong knowledge of warehouse safety protocols, inventory management, and logistics operations

High attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in data and processes

Knowledge of inventory management principles and warehouse processes.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
