Job Responsibilities
Maintained a clean, safe, and hygienic environment within the nursing home, including residents’ rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and dining halls.
Performed routine housekeeping duties such as floor cleaning, bathroom sanitation, furniture and fixture cleaning, and proper bed making to ensure residents’ comfort.
Collected, laundered, sorted, folded, and properly stored linens and residents’ clothing, including sluicing of soiled items when required.
Ensured cleaning equipment and materials were well-maintained, safe, and fully operational; reported replacement needs to the Administrator.
Supported residents’ safety, comfort, and well-being by attending to basic needs, responding to complaints, and reporting issues promptly to the registered nurse.
Carried out ad-hoc and additional duties as assigned by the registered nurse or Operations Manager from time to time.
