Responsibilities
LaboratoryTechnician
Ourclient is a global leading testing company. They arecurrently seeking for Laboratory Technicians to deliver testing services requiredby their customers.
The role ofthe Laboratory Technician includes:
Carry out accurate and timely tests and reporting as required by the customers
Familiarization with all test methods & laboratory procedures
Support and maintain the laboratory operations. Coordinate activities of the section to meet the turn-around time
Upkeep cleanliness of work areas, apparatus and equipment before, during and after handing over from fellow Team Leaders
Perform standard quality checks and basic calibration of equipment
To record and endorse test results on Worksheets when tests are completed
Ensure that tests are completed accurately without compromising integrity and standards
Carry out tests in accordance to the standard methods as given in the worksheet
Standardize reagent/equipment, prepare titration solvent and test solutions when necessary
Upkeep cleanliness of work areas, apparatus and equipment
Assist in the practical training of new technicians when assigned
Maintain good housekeeping by cleaning up after each test
To review, question and repeat results if suspicious results are encountered
To be updated and develop competency on new scope of tests and instruments
Perform any tasks as assigned by management
Job Requirement:
Fresh Nitec, Diploma in any engineering, chemical, science studies are welcome (Training will be provided)
Working experience in a laboratory will be added advantages
Positive working attitude, team player and hardworking
Applies judgment and acts according to the company standards of ethics and integrity
