Job Description:

• Handle typical and small to medium sized projects comprising Mechanical Building Services,
• Sewerage Lifting Pumping Station, Water Pumping Station, Drainage Pumping System, and all infrastructure related pump station as assigned by HOD/GM of Division with minimal guidance by superior
• Lead a team of engineers and other staff in undertaking multi-disciplinary small to medium sizedprojects with minimal guidance by superior
• Assist superior on bigger sized projects
• Perform all necessary duties from the preliminary/conceptual design stage until project completion with minimal guidance by superior which include detailed design and prepare drawings, specifications, bill of quantities, cost estimates and schedules
• Review Subordinates’ and peers’ output and provide guidance to Subordinates
• Attend meetings and coordinate with all other internal and external design team members
• Liaise with relevant Authorities for submission and approval of all drawings and documents
• Carry out site supervision as necessary to ensure works are installed in accordance with contract documentation and good engineering practice
• Assist in preparing consultancy Expression of Interest and Consultancy Proposal
• Assist superior in carrying out sales and marketing to secure project
• Involve in company’s activities including corporate social responsibility activities
• Carry out all tasks related to Minconsult’s operation as directed

Requirement

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering recognized by Board of Engineers, Malaysia (BEM)
• Registered with BEM as a Graduate Engineer
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in a consultancy environment for Senior Mechanical Engineer position
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in a consultancy environment for Mechanical Engineer position
• Experience in AutoCAD, REVIT and Navisworks will be an added advantage
• Able to handle typical and small to medium sized projects comprising Mechanical Building Services (ACMV, Fire Fighting and Protection System, Cold Water Plumbing, Sanitary, Plumbing, Vertical Transportation System), Sewerage Lifting Pumping Station, Water Pumping Station, Drainage Pumping System, and all infrastructure related pump station with minimal guidance
• Able to lead a team of engineers and other staff in undertaking small to medium sized multi-disciplinary projects with minimal guidance
• Strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to prioritize workloads and meet timelines.
• Good inter-personal skills.
• A good team player
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Able to write and speak Bahasa Malaysia
