Responsibilities
Summary
The Airside Manager is responsible for overseeing daily airside operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery across airline, baggage, cargo, and support services. The role manages operational teams, airline relationships, compliance, staffing, and operational performance within assigned terminals.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day airside operations, including arrivals, departures, baggage handling, cargo transfers, and support services.
Lead and develop Duty Managers and airside operational teams.
Act as the primary escalation and contact point for airlines and operational issues.
Oversee aircraft cleaning, airside support services, and airline account management.
Ensure operational readiness, audit compliance, incident reporting, and SLA achievement.
Coordinate airline audits, system trials, terminal transitions, and operational projects.
Monitor operational performance, staffing levels, and employee certifications.
Support workforce development, performance management, and stakeholder engagement.
Requirements
Degree from a recognized institution or equivalent relevant experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience in airline, airport, or ground handling operations management.
Strong knowledge of passenger service and airport operations.
Proven ability to lead large teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
Able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and make sound operational decisions.
Willing to perform shift duties and be available for 24/7 operational escalations.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional candidates may be considered for a Senior Terminal Manager position
