Job Summary We are seeking a proactive, technically proficient, and highly analytical Network Administrator to join our infrastructure and technology operations team at our Kallang headquarters. In this role, you will be the core technical owner responsible for designing, configuring, monitoring, and optimizing our corporate and factory floor network ecosystem. You will ensure high availability, optimal network performance, and robust cybersecurity defenses across our central corporate office and connected smart manufacturing lines. The ideal candidate will combine strong diagnostic capabilities with deep routing expertise to keep our mission-critical ERP, shop-floor automation, and engineering applications running flawlessly with zero downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Management: Design, install, configure, and maintain enterprise Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), Wireless Networks (WLAN), routers, switches, and load balancers across office and manufacturing spaces.
• Performance Optimization: Proactively monitor network bandwidth utilization, latency parameters, and system uptime; analyze traffic patterns and clear performance bottlenecks to maintain a zero-downtime objective.
• Network Security Architecture: Implement, audit, and update advanced firewall rules, Virtual Private Network (VPN) configurations, and strict Access Control Lists (ACLs) to safeguard sensitive intellectual property, blueprints, and engineering files.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Provide rapid, decisive tier 2 and tier 3 technical troubleshooting to resolve complex network outages, routing conflicts, or wireless dropouts reported by technical and production teams.
• Backup & Disaster Recovery: Establish, automate, and routinely test comprehensive network configuration backups, failover procedures, and business continuity systems.
• Vendor & Inventory Coordination: Liaise directly with telecommunication service providers and IT hardware vendors for circuit provisioning, hardware procurement, and Service Level Agreement (SLA) reviews.
• Compliance & Governance: Ensure all network traffic routing, data storage segmentation, and access logs strictly adhere to corporate information security guidelines and the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).

Requirements

• Education: Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Network Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related quantitative technical discipline.
• Technical Stack: Deep engineering knowledge of core routing and switching protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs) and hands-on configuration experience with enterprise hardware (such as Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, or Aruba).
• Certifications: Professional industry credentials such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), CCNP, or CompTIA Network+ are highly preferred.
• Experience: Prior experience (1–5 years) in network administration, system infrastructure management, or senior technical helpdesk operations—ideally within an industrial manufacturing, engineering, or tech consultancy firm—is required.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional logical reasoning, structured problem-solving skills under tight deployment deadlines, high attention to detail, and a reliable team-player mindset.

Pay: $4,500.00 - $7,500.00 per month
