Job Summary

• Ensure all forms of operation carried out within PaxOcean Singapore is in regulatory compliance to all relevant requirements and industry codes and standards.
• Uphold all in-house requirements and standards pertaining to HSE governance within yard’s operation.
• Serves as point of contact for direct liaison of all operational and /or HSE system related matters.

Key Responsibilities

• To carry out implementation of HSE Policy and requirements as established within PaxOcean’s Safety Management System for the purpose of ensuring yard operations are in compliance to all requirements as established by relevant authorities.
• To carry out enforcement of local regulatory requirements from relevant authorities and international best practices from relevant standards on all operations being carried out within PaxOcean’s premises.
• To promote safety awareness & culture amongst the workforce through trainings and other HSE activities in order to achieve an accident-free and healthy work environment.
• To assist organization in achieving higher standard of HSE performance.
• To liaise with external parties and other governmental bodies pertaining HSE matters.

Key Requirements

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• For non-graduate applicants: At least 4–5 years of relevant experience in the shipyard industry is required.

Education

Bachelors in Chemical Engineering or Environmental Health & Safety
