We are looking for an experienced, professional Private Chef to prepare daily meals, with a strong specialization in Middle Eastern and Western cuisine. This is a full-time role for someone who takes pride in consistency, hygiene, and hospitality-grade standards of cooking — candidates with 5-star hotel or fine-dining kitchen experience are strongly preferred.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan and prepare daily meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) for the household, including special requests and dietary needs.
• Prepare authentic Middle Eastern dishes (e.g. grills, mezze, rice dishes) alongside Western cuisine to a consistently high standard.
• Manage menu planning, grocery shopping/ingredient sourcing, and kitchen inventory.
• Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene, kitchen cleanliness, and food safety practices.
• Occasionally prepare meals for small gatherings, family events, or guests as required.
• Manage portioning, storage, and minimal food wastage.
• Keep the kitchen and equipment clean, organized, and well maintained at all times.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven professional cooking experience; prior experience in a 5-star hotel, fine-dining restaurant, or established private household is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in Middle Eastern cuisine and Western cuisine.
• Degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or equivalent professional certification.
• Good understanding of food hygiene and safety standards.
• Trustworthy, well-organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Flexible and reliable with working hours, including occasional evenings for special occasions.
• Basic spoken English for day-to-day communication.
• Willing to work in Kuala Lumpur; open to either live-in or daily commuting arrangements.

Pay: RM3,557.79 - RM8,775.23 per month
