ZTE Malaysia Hiring! Full Time Product Solution Engineer in Federal Territory - Ricebowl

• Product testing for 5G/LTE-A/LTE/WCDMA/GSM product such as Mobile Phones, Tablets, IoT, USB Modem, MiFi, FWA, CPE and FWT.
• Work in an agile, collaborative environment with developer and project manager to deliver a quality product.
• Understand and follow testing procedures as prescribed by headquarter and coordinate effective test plans and execute the test schedule.
• Ensure effective and efficient testing across projects.
• Able to overcome language barriers and work together with various stakeholders as a team.
• Report on testing progress and dependencies to Project leader and R&D to ensure the timely delivery of different testing milestones.
• Implement test processes on projects, write test plans, procedures and analyze test results.
• Identify testing gaps, anticipate issues and provide solutions, expect advice and risk to mitigation to improve work efficiency.
• Test, tune, debug and suggest the detailed refinements to ensure quality of new implementation with mobile service provider. Prepare technical documents, test reports, Sirim and solution proposals.
• Able to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and handle urgent technical issues effectively.
• Handle customer software customization requirements.
• Prioritize and isolate pre and post launch product issues
• Liaise with R&D Engineers regarding pre-release product testing, quality issues and then create action and recovery plans.
• Coordinate with customers, sales, R&D, and engineering teams for successful product deployment.
• Maintains a high level of technical knowledge of mobile products, IoT, solutions and the relevant industry.
• Provide product training to internal staff and external (Customer).

Job Requirements

1. Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional
2. Degree in Telecommunication or related fields.
3. Quick learner, attention to detail and initiative.
4. Able to work independently or in a team, innovative and proactive, strong sense of responsibility.
5. Excellent English & Mandarin writing skills.
6. Willing to travel.
7. Strong knowledge of 5G, LTE, HSPA+/WCDMA, signaling, call processing concepts, etc.
8. Good understanding on GSM, GPRS, EDGE, WCDMA, HSPA, LTE mobile phone software architecture and telecommunications network configuration.
9. Experience in test case design and writing are an advantages.
