St. Paul's Hospital Hiring! Full Time Pharmacist II (Shift Duty) in Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong - Ricebowl

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform professional duties appropriate to their level of competency to achieve desired health outcomes. Counsel patients with professional advice for medication management.

• Assist Seniors to provide professional and clinical support to other healthcare professionals.

• Establish effective communication with physician, nurses, dispensers, other hospital personnel and patients so as to promote and ensure rational therapy.

• Participate in the safe and accurate aseptic dispensing of cytotoxic injectable drugs in accordance with departmental guidelines and procedures.

• Inspect all clinical areas to monitor proper storage and distribution of medicines including dangerous drugs, floor stock items and emergency drugs.

• Assist medical gases management. Place purchase order of medical gases.

• Participate in clinical audits and departmental improvement projects.

• Deliver training to pharmacy staff, doctors, nursing staff and general public.

• Participate in the internal and external training programs, departmental and hospital-wide mandatory training programs. Achieve minimum continuing education (CE) points for competency assessment.

• Meet priorities as established by the Department Manager.

• Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Job Requirements:

• BSc in Pharmacy or above

• A Certificate of Registration and a valid Practicing Certificate issued by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board, Hong Kong
