Responsibilities
Job Description:
- Ensure the materials procured for the projects are complying with Quality requirements.
- Review of material data sheets, specifications to understand material technical and quality requirements.
- Develop Project Material procurement technical requirements for structure & piping materials.
- Interface with Class, Client, and Third-Party Inspection Agencies.
- Review material manufacturer quality documents. ( ITP, MPS, MDS etc., )
- Perform supplier/manufacturer audits.
- Resolve material-related NCRs, concessions, and technical queries.
- Approve MTCs, Material inspection reports.
- Manage material receiving inspections, review of MTCs, Issuance of Material release note.
- Conduct pre inspection meeting with supplier/ manufacturers.
- Coordinate with manufacturer, client and third party/class for source inspection at manufacturer location.
- Monitor material inspection related KPIs and report to QA/QC HOD.
- Degree in Mechanical/Materials Engineering
- 10 years' experiences in managing material quality, structural, piping material source inspections, coordination for oil and gas EPC projects
