To support the Creative & Design team in producing high-quality photography, videography and creative content for Serai Group and its brands.

The position is responsible for shooting, editing and producing photo and video content, while working closely with the Senior Photographer/Videographer on larger shoots, campaigns and creative projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Photography & Videography

• Plan, shoot and produce photo and video content for Serai Group and its brands, including food, beverages, products, outlets, staff, events, campaigns and social media.
• Conduct basic photography and videography assignments independently according to creative briefs and requirements.
• Assist the Senior Photographer/Videographer during larger commercial, promotional and campaign shoots.
• Set up and operate cameras, lighting, tripods, microphones and other photography/videography equipment.
• Prepare basic shot lists, locations, props and other requirements before shoots.
• Ensure photographs and video footage have good composition, lighting, framing and overall visual quality.
• Identify suitable opportunities at outlets and events to capture engaging and relevant content.
• Travel to different outlets, events and locations for photography and videography assignments when required.

Photo & Video Editing

• Select, edit and retouch photographs, including colour correction, cropping, resizing and basic enhancement.
• Edit short-form videos, reels and social media content, including trimming, subtitles, music, transitions and basic effects.
• Prepare final photos and videos according to the required format, size and platform.
• Ensure all edited content is visually appealing and aligned with the company's brand guidelines.
• Organise and maintain photography and videography files properly.

Content & Social Media

• Produce engaging photo and video content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and other digital platforms.
• Support the production of reels, short-form videos and other social media content.
• Keep up to date with current social media trends and creative content formats.
• Work closely with the Marketing and Operations teams to understand and fulfil content requirements.
• Suggest new and relevant content ideas to improve brand visibility and audience engagement.

Team & Operational Support

• Work closely with the Senior Photographer/Videographer and Creative & Design team on assigned projects.
• Assist senior team members with production and creative tasks when required.
• Coordinate with Marketing, Operations and outlet teams for photography and videography requirements.
• Handle, maintain and store photography, videography and other creative equipment properly.
• Maintain an organised library of photographs, videos, artwork and other creative assets.
• Complete assigned projects and tasks within the required timeline.
• Maintain professionalism when representing the company at outlets, events and external shoots.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the superior or Management.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Photography, Videography, Multimedia, Creative Design, Graphic Design, Digital Media, Mass Communication or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in photography, videography, content creation or a related creative field is preferred.
• Fresh graduates with a strong portfolio may also be considered.
• Good knowledge of photography and videography.
• Good understanding of camera operation, lighting, composition and framing.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of photo and video editing.
• Familiar with Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Canva, CapCut or similar software.
• Able to independently handle basic photography and videography assignments.
• Strong interest in social media and digital content creation.
• Portfolio of photography, videography, editing or creative work is an advantage.
• Willing to travel to different outlets and attend events or shoots when required.
• Able to work flexible hours depending on shoot, event and business requirements.

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,300.00 per month
